DMQ: Deer Stalking Certificate Level 1 & 2
For those beginners or experienced stalkers who wish to gain a formal qualification and further their training, Creeside can provide Approved Witness Assessment and Stalking for Deer Management Qualification Deer Stalking Certificate Levels 1 and 2.
Deer Stalking Certificate Level 1
After home study of the DSC Level 1 manual Creeside can provide advice and a one day assessment for the Level 1 qualification.
The home study manual covers various subjects including deer biology, ecology and identification, stalking techniques, taking the shot and the Law and safety.
The assessment day for DSC Level 1 includes several tests for you to demonstrate your knowledge and skills acquired, and are arranged as written. visual, safety, shooting and Large Game Competency Assessment.

Deer Stalking Certificate Level 2
For Level 2 we can provide full briefing and advice, followed by Approved Witness stalking and completion of your Portfolio.
You are required to provide sufficient evidence in your Portfolio, that you have reached the necessary standard of competence by demonstrating that you have stalked, dispatched and prepared for storage, at least 3 deer on separate occasions accompanied and documented by our Approved Witness.
