Creeside welcomes anyone with an interest in Stalking and Hunting and Deer and Land Management and Conservation.

The control of deer populations is a fundamental part of good land management and conservation.  Culling ensures the continuation of a healthy deer population and the protection and growth of woodlands, forests and pastures.  It also provides those with a love of country pursuits a truly wild, challenging and unpredictable sport.

Training on all levels is available from complete beginner through to those requiring some further training or a refresher course.  This training also provides a good introduction to Deer Stalking and to DSC Levels 1 & 2 for those wishing to take their training further.

The training will start with detailed discussions on safety and the use of firearms.  Firearm use will then be demonstrated and thorough practice takes place at our purpose built shooting range using targets.  This will be followed with information on species identification and deer stalking seasons with clothing and equipment requirements discussed also.
The art of stalking and field craft will be demonstrated and practised in detail and when ready, we will move on to stalking and trying for your first deer.

The standard training takes place over two days, although further training days can be added, and are tailored to your specific requirements.

Estate rifles are available for hire if required.  Accommodation is included for self catering, B&B or full board.  These training days can also be arranged as a gift – please see our Gifts section.

For further information on our Deer Stalking training packages and prices please phone or email your details.  Fresh Wild Venison is available to purchase from our online shop.
