Welcome to Creeside’s online shop. Here we have our Loch Reared Traditional Smoked Salmon. We consider this to be the best, quality assured, farmed Scottish salmon available and we have sourced many over the years.
The fresh salmon are from award winning farms based around the Northern Scottish Islands. The farms are surrounded by waters tempered by the Gulf Stream, creating ideal temperatures and current conditions for premium quality salmon.
The northerly location enable the salmon to grow to maturity in cold, clear waters and the strong currents of the sea lochs ensure the farmed salmon work continuously with the tide, as in the wild to produce firm textured salmon with a low fat content. A policy of respect, sustainability and traceability for the salmon and the environment is undertaken by all the farms.
The fresh salmon are smoked to our own unique and traditional recipe which has been successfully used for generations. Loch Reared Traditional Smoked Scottish Salmon is available throughout the year in various sizes, whole sides or sliced packs to suit all occasions and budgets.
